Thomas Bernhard was one of Austrias finest Authors. And he had a very tough life. Adapting his autobiographical books into graphic novels was an honour, as much as it was exhausting...

For me, most important was to find a visual representation, that matches the way he wrote: Without compromise, always exaggerating, endless repetitions and completely manic.
